Quarantine Hair, Don’t Care - Lasting Memories Layout Challenges DT Reveal

 Happy Halloween everyone! It’s time for the latest Lasting Memories Layout Challenges DT Reveal. We are starting a new set of challenges today. Our theme for November is "STASH BASH"! The end of the year is fast approaching and let's try to get some stash bashed before the New Year! Today's challenge is to use Ephemera, Chipboard, and/or Tags on our layouts. Use one, two or all three of the items on your layout. Your layout can include other items as well.

Here is my layout....

I used Ephemera and tags on my layout. The paper line is from Wild Whisper Designs - A Canadian company. The line is called 6 Feet Apart. I used the Ephemera pack from this line as well, adding a  few with pop dots and I backed my photo on a scrap of black cardstock. I cut the tags with a Cuddlebug die cut and my die cutting machine.

Fall Harvest

 After a few soggy, drab days it looks like the sun might be able to poke through the clouds today. Until then I would like to share a Fall layout with you….

 My grandson just loves to help Nana in the garden, but especially at harvest time. Pumpkins are his favourite to keep an eye on!

I was inspired by the October 24th sketch from The Studio Challenges.

And the challenge at Use Your Stuff to do a layout about Halloween or Pumpkins, I of course chose Pumpkins!

Family - Lasting Memories Layout Challenges DT Reveal

 Good Morning Everyone, time for the latest Lasting Memories Layout Challenges DT Reveal. We are continuing with the theme of Famous Designers for the month of October. Today's challenge is:

Use Vicki Boutin products or adopt her style.  Vicki tends to use bold colors, and lots of mixed media.  You can see a sample of Vicki's layouts on the Lasting Memories Blog. Vicki is also from Southern Ontario, Canada, just like me!

Here is my layout:

I used the Vicki Boutin Storytelling line that I received with my Scrapbook and Cards Sampler. Awesome line. I also used one of Vicki Boutin's stencils on my background with Prima Marketing Stone Effect Paste. The Family title was a bonus item in the sampler pack. I did lots of fussy cutting.

On the back of the layout, I created a pocket and placed inside the beautiful card that my sister made me for my retirement and the special letter that my Bestie wrote to me. Treasures kept forever!!!

BEWARE

 Good morning everyone, it’s another chilly but sunny morning. Today I would like to share another layout using up the My Mind’s Eye - Haunted collection that I mentioned yesterday.

These photos are from our visit to Saunders Farm a few years ago. A fabulous place to visit.

I was inspired by the sketch from Sketch N Scrap. Here is the sketch.

I had to change things up a bit to include the haunted house on my background paper!

 Happy Monday everyone, I can say that now that I am retired! I have been working on Halloween layouts trying to use up one paper line. Here is one of the layouts that I would like to share with you!

These photos are from Halloween 2018. My grandsons all ready for trick or treating!

The paper line is My Mind’s Eye - Haunted and I also used Simple Stories - Boo Crew foam stickers for the title and embellishments.

Adore - Lasting Memories Layout Challenges DT Reveal

 Good Morning Friends! It's time to share the latest Lasting Memories Layout Challenges DT Reveal.

We are continuing with the theme for October of Famous Designers. Today's challenge is:

Shimelle Laine

Use Shimelle products or adopt her style.  Shimelle tends to use bright colors. Please see the Lasting Memories Blog post for samples of Shimelle's work.

Here is my layout:

I used Shimelle's Sparkle City and Box of Crayons lines from American Crafts. I also used Thickers - Truly Grateful which had a wonderful assortment of puffy elements.

SMILE - Lasting Memories Layout Challenges DT Reveal

 Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends in Canada. Such a beautiful fall weekend! Today I would like to share with you the latest Lasting Memories Layout Challenges DT Reveal. We are continuing with the theme of "Famous Designers"! Today's challenge is Paige Evans.

Use Paige Evans products, a Paige Evans cut file or adopt her style.  Paige tends to use rainbow colors,  cut files, repeating patterns or shapes, lots of fussy cut elements and hand or machine stitching.  

Here's a couple examples of Paige's layouts:

And here is my layout:

I used Pink Paislee - Paige Evans - Bloom Street paper and a cut file from Bella Blvd. I also added machine stitching to the outside of my layout and used a die to cut my layering papers that has stitching marks.

This photo was taken at my retirement party! Hard not to smile.
