Waiting for the Bus!

School has been in for a couple of weeks now and the boys are smiling every day!

Today I am sharing a layout from the first day of school at the bus stop...such anticipation on their little faces....thanks to my "daughter-in-law" for emailing me the pics at work!!!

And some closeups....

I used Fancy Pants - Off to School paper and embellies. Twine - Darice, Arrows - MME Necessities and the paper clip is from my stash.

I was inspired by the Let's Get Sketchy - September Week 1 sketch. I knew as soon as I say this sketch I wanted to use the photos of the boys waiting for the bus!

Tulips for Penny - ScrapMuch? Sketch-y Friday Week 3 DT Reveal

Happy Friday everyone and that means it is time for my second ScrapMuch? Sketch-y Friday Design Team reveal for the month of September.

Here is my layout....

Last fall we planted a Memorial Tree for my husband's Father and Step Mom. We also had our three children plant tulip bulbs for Penny. In the spring they put on such a fabulous show of colour. We knew Jerry & Penny were smiling down on us!

I layered up butterflies and fussy cut flowers from the American Crafts - Dear Lizzy - Neopolitan papers. They match the colours of the tulips beautifully. I fastened the tulips together with Tim Holtz Tiny Tackers. The bling is from Zva Creative. Buttons and twine from my stash.

And a couple more closeup shots.

And here is Laura's lovely sketch.

Be sure to play along and if you are interested in joining our Design Team, just add DT to your submission.

Happy Friday everyone!
