Once again I have been chosen to Guest Design for Scrapping4fun Challenges. Today's challenge #53 is NON Traditional Christmas colours.

I decided to create an Origami tree Christmas card.

I used some scraps of Bo Bunny, Recollection and Coredinations papers to create my card. The NON Tradional colours that  I used are maroon and different shades of blue.

TOGETHER - SCRAPTOBER FEST CHALLENGES

The weather sure has been nasty with strong winds and a ton of rain! What better way to pass the time than creating.

Today I would like to share with you a layout that I created for an AWESOME challenge.

This photo was taken of my Mom, my daughter and myself at my Grandson's birthday party at a local bowling alley. Pretty good photo for being taken in the dark at a bowling alley.

Here are some closeups....

And here is the AWESOME challenges that I mentioned earlier....

First off the inspiration came from this sketch from The Memory Nest

And the colour challenge from My Scraps & More

Use at least two different washi tapes from Scrap Our Stash (I used 3)
and
the final part of the challenge is from Challenge Yourself and the challenge is to create a layout with yourself in it.

I am so fortunate to have these two wonderful ladies in my life!!!!

I had a lot of fun participating in this fun challenge! Thanks for stopping by!
Stay Crafty!!!

ROCKET MAN

I am back today with another Halloween layout! I am happy to say that I now have scrapped both of my Grandson's costumes from 2014....just in time for this Halloween!

Here is my layout....

Isn't he just the cutest! Love it when we capture his winks!!!
Last Halloween was horrible weather wise...it rained all day....hence the reason all of the photos were taken on our tiny front porch. You can see in the background how wet the street was. That didn't stop them from having a wonderful time Trick or Treating!!!

Here are some closeups....

I knew when I saw this October Afternoon paper at a store that was recently going out of business, that it would be a perfect background paper for the "Astronaut in Orange"!!! The other papers I used are Teresa Collins - Haunted Hallows. I added some TC chipboard and Making Memories & Studio G embellishments to finish it off. My Thickers title was just short the letter "e" so I did a little cutting and made one.

I was inspired by Laura Whitaker's fabulous sketch over at Let's Get Sketchy October Week 1.

I was also inspired by the challenge at Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge and the challenge is to create a layout in less than one hour! I didn't think that I could do it, but I did!!!

Thanks for stopping by! Stay Crafty!!!

Here are some closeups....

Hopefully I get a couple more done before All Hallow's Eve is upon us once again!

SUCCESS

Today I would like to share with you a fun layout about our grandson.
My husband challenged him at the beginning of the summer to ride his bicycle without training wheels before school went back in. If he did so, Papa would pay $20. On August 22nd while returning home from a crop....low and behold, he had mastered it...just it time before school restarted too!

Here is my layout....

And some closeups....

Product List - Lucky 7 Factory (Made in Canada), Cosmo Cricket, Simple Stories Chipboad & papers. Bicycle embellishment - Recollections.

Here is the sketch from Let's Capture Our Memories Sketch #134 that I used for inspiration.

I was also inspired by Silhouette Challenges #30 - Anything Goes.

Stay tuned for part two about Aiden tomorrow. Thanks for stopping by! Stay Crafty!!!
