  Happy Sunday morning friends, it’s another lovely summer day here. Perfect time for the latest Lasting Memories Layout Challenges DT Reveal! Maureen is hosting the challenges for July and she thought it would be fun to use  “Season’s” WORDPLAY.

As our Scrapbookers come from all over the world, our seasons are defined by the hemisphere we live in.  Maureen lives in the Southern Hemisphere and the next Season in our Wordplay challenge is  “SUMMER”. That’s the season I am in as I live in southern Ontario Canada!

Let’s use the letters in the word SUMMER to inspire our scrapbooking this week.

Here is my layout…

I was inspired by the Ghostbusters Movies and hence my title! So long story short….I had been hearing a scratching noise coming from the fireplace for days. The dog could hear it as well. My husband…not so much. Fast forward to Easter Weekend and we were expecting a house full of family! I shared my story with our oldest son and lo and behold he takes a picture down a small crack and two beady little eyes are looking up! It was a Mama raccoon and her babies. I called an animal rescue company and the price was outrageous! So….Who Are You Going To Call? Oldest son and Hubby! They extracted  them all successfully and Mama moved them to the abandoned chimney on our garage! A much better place for the furry family!

Design team member Cheryl will be hosting our February challenges. As we celebrate Valentine's Day this month, Cheryl thought it would be fun to focus on things that go together! This week’s challenge is to stick two or more items together by using fasteners: brads, ribbon, twine, staples, etc.

I choose to use staples to adhere the two large hearts together as the paper is flocked and very hard to get it to stick together! I also used brads to attach the tags to my layout of our newest grandchild!

 Good morning friends, it’s time for the latest Lasting Memories Layout Challenges DT Reveal . For January Lori is hosting the challenges which is to use a Sketch with a scrappy twist. For this week, we will use the sketch below that Lori got from Page Maps, and the scrappy twist is to use washi tape or a sticker design line on your layout.  We can't wait to see what you create.

Hubby and I enjoying Spanish Coffees on our recent vacation trip to Cuba! I used three different washi tapes on my layout. They are on either side of the centre diagonal piece and the sub-title word MOMENTS is also washi tape.
