Froggers - ScrapMuch? Sketch-y Friday DT Reveal

Wow...the month is just flying by and it is time for me to share my second Design Team layout for the month of July with you for ScrapMuch? Sketch-y Friday....

The boys were over for a quick visit one Saturday after T-ball and Nana caught a frog for them to hold....needless to say....they loved it....all three of them!

I fussy cut the flowers and stars from the Bo Bunny Papers. The frog buttons are from Dress It Up. The buttons in the centre of the flowers are from my stash with Hemp by Hemptique.

I cut the frog from B is for Boys Cricut cartridge and the title were letter stickers from the same line of Bo Bunny papers that I placed on red AC cardstock and then fussy cut around the letters to layer up my title.

I hand cut the tags from Fancy Pants Corrugated Paper and more Bo Bunny and added the Reinforcements from CTG Brands and Hemp by Hemptique. I added a few Michael's rhinestones to the arrow sticker and a few pop dots to finish things up! Everything is on a background of AC Cardstock.

Here is Laura's fabulous sketch...

Be sure to link up your projects before July 29th for a chance at a randomnly drawn prize.

I was also inspired by the challenge at Paper Issues which is Getting the Scoop on the Sweet Days of Summer....Boys and Frogs....now that says summer!

And by Child's Play Challenges - Classic Toy - Cooties...I was inspired by the colours and boys and their love of frogs (similar to bugs)!

Fortissimo - ScrapMuch? Sketch-y Friday July 4th DT Reveal

Today I would like to share my layout for the ScrapMuch? Sketch-y Friday July 4th DT Reveal. Since it is the Friday following July 1st - Canada's birthday, I wanted to do another Canadian themed layout.

These pictures were taken a few years ago when we had the pleasure of seeing Fortissimo - The Band of the Ceremonial Guard on the grounds of the Parliment Building in Ottawa! It was a fabulous sight and pleasure to the ears!

Here are some closeups....

I wanted to keep my embellishing fairly simple to not take away from the photos.

Products used - Paper by MME & Fancy Pants. I cut my tag from Pebbles Inc Journal Card. The banner is Heidi Swapp and I colored it with Powder Puff Chalking Ink in Marashino Cherry. Embellishments - Canada Button by Dress It Up, Bakers Twine by WeR Memory Keepers, Maple Leaf  by Mistables by Mister Hueys and the brads are from my stash. Lettering by MME - Dear Santa and Authentique - Petite Type Square.

Here is Laura's fabulous two page sketch....

Be sure to link up your layouts before the end of July for a chance at a prize!

I also was inspired by Lasting Memories Layout Challenges - LM #196 - Bannerific to use a banner on my layout.

And.....Red Carpet Studio #73 to create a patriotic themed project.

Stay crafty!!!

First Canada Day Celebration - Stuck July 1st DT Reveal

Happy Canada Day everyone! Time for a new Design Team Reveal from Stuck?! Sketches.

Today I would like to share a layout that I created with pictures of our Grandson on his very first Canada Day. Papa, Auntie Sara & I had the pleasure of taking him to the Port Dover Canada Day Parade when he was just 4 months old. He slept through all of the noisy floats and bands and celebrating crowds.

Here is my layout...

Isn't he just adorable in his little Canada Day shirt?

And some detail shots....

I stitched around all of my triangles with the sewing machine.

My product list includes papers by Crate Paper, October Afternoon, Basic Grey & vellum by DCWV, bingo chips by Crate Paper, Wed button by Studio Calico, Film Strip & Tiny Tackers by Tim Holtz, wood veneer arrow by Teresa Collins, Maple Leafs Mistables by Mister Huey's, Thickers, Alphabet Stickers by Recollection and the buttons are from my stash.

Here is the fabulous sketch that Laura created.

Be sure to play along this month for a chance at two fabulous prizes from our sponsors.
A $20 gift certificate from Creative Emellishments & a kit of the month from ScrapMuch?

We are also teaming up with Frosted Designs to use die cuts. I used a heart die to cut the heart from vellum, so be sure to link up your layout on their blog as well. You can find all the info here.

I was also inspired by the Challenge at Catherine & Cathy Create which is to show you National Pride!

And Red Carpet Studio #73 to create a patriotic themed project.

Remember to put on your Red & White and celebrate this wonderful country that we are so fortunate to live in. HAPPY CANADA DAY everyone!!!
