Baseball Champs - Lasting Memories Layout Challenges DT Reveal

Good Morning Friends, it is time for the latest Lasting Memories Layout Challenges DT Reveal. We are starting a new theme for the month of September a couple days early called Out of your comfort zone

We all have our own scrapbook style.  We tend to repeat certain elements, colors, and even layout designs.  This month, let's move out of our comfort zone.  These challenges won't be too specific because each person will need to evaluate their own scrapbooking and do something different from their typical layouts.

Today’s challenge is - photos - create a layout using a photo that's not your typical size.  For example, if you mostly scrap 4x6 size, use a 5x7 or 8x10 photo instead.

Here is my layout…

I used an 8 x10 photo on my layout, backing it with two layers of cardstock, navy blue and black. I also used a wallet size photo to highlight a pocket for the baseball card with all the stats and details for the year!

Material list - Carta Bella paper, stickers and chipboard, Bazills and Ac Cardstock.

You & Me - Lasting Memories Layout Challenges DT Reveal

Happy Sunday everyone! It’s another beautiful summer weekend! Time for the latest Lasting Memories Layout Challenges DT Reveal. We are continuing with our theme for August of 3 Things.

For our August challenges, you will be given a list of three items that you must use on your layout. How much or how little of each item that you use is up to you. You can also use other items that are not on the list but you must include the required 3 things.

Today’s challenge is Polka dot/dotty patterned paper, hexagons, doily

The hexagons can be a patterned paper, embellishment, or die-cut/punched and the doily can be an actual doily or a doily sticker, a doily stamp, or a doily die-cut.

Here is my layout….

I recently had the pleasure of babysitting my newest grandson. His Dad’s vehicle broke down, so my husband and daughter went to the rescue! I was thrilled to spend one on one time with the adorable little man!

Material list - Teresa Collins paper and button, Fancy Pants puffy stickers, Celebrate It ribbon, Bazzil cardstock, Thickers, Colorbloc vellum phrase and the doily is from my stash.

Easter - Lasting Memories Layout Challenges DT Reveal

Happy Sunday friends, I hope that everyone is enjoying their weekend! It's time for the newest Lasting Memories Layout Challenges DT Reveal. We are starting a new theme today for the month of August, just one day early called  - 3 Things.

For our August challenges, you will be given a list of three items that you must use on your layout. How much or how little of each item that you use is up to you. You can also use other items that are not on the list, but you must include the required 3 things.

Today's challenge is Icon/Geometric patterned paper, circles, and stickers

For the icon paper - think rainbows, unicorns, ice cream cones, etc. on the paper. Circles can be anything circular - a circular die-cut piece,  chipboard piece, sticker, brads, enamel dots, etc.

Here is my layout.....

I choose Easter paper as my Icon paper. Aren't the little bunnies and sheep adorable? My washi tape is the green strip between the Icon paper and the plaid paper. My circles are the green Easter Wishes sticker and the pink bling throughout the layout.

This layout is from Easter a few years ago. My Mom made sure that all the grandchildren and great grandchildren got an Easter egg, no matter their age.

Here is each page closer up...

Material List - Colorplay - Easter Wishes paper and stickers. Spellbinders Want 2 Scrap Nestabling, and Celebrate It Ribbon.
