Everyday Moments - ScrapMuch? Sketch-y Friday DT Reveal

Happy Friday! It is time for another ScrapMuch? Sketch-y Friday Design Team Reveal.

Every year I try to take a similar shot of Papa and the boys. Today's layout is from the one I took last August. The tree that we used previously for the shot had to be cut down, so we moved to the backyard to the mighty Walnut tree.

This layout just went together in a flash.....I think the papers just suited the photo so well that it just came together so easily!

Here are some closeups....

I fussy cut the polaroid frame from one of the papers and layered up some of the fun stickers.

This Queen & Co. Headliner title was just perfect.

On the background I added some watercolour splatters and used my new Glaze pens that I received for Mother's Day (thanks Girlie) to dash in the circle. I added a couple more flower stickers to the circle.

Here is Laura's wonderful sketch....I used a 5x7 photo rather than two smaller ones.

Product list - AC Cardstock, Echo Park - Happy Go Lucky paper and stickers, and October afternoon Tin Pin.

Perfect timing for this post....just in time for Father's Day! Happy Father's Day to all the Dads out there....young and old!!!

I was also inspired by the challenge at Frosted Designs - Summertime Blues.

Have a fabulous weekend! Stay Crafty!

Bloom Where You're Planted

Good Afternoon everyone, today I would like to share a Spring layout with you. Summer is just around the corner, so this is still the perfect time for this share.

I snapped this picture of the Grandsons early in May when this shrub was in full bloom. We have lived here for 27 years and never seen such a beautiful show from this shrub. The boys were here to go to ball practice, so out we went to snap a few photos. I will share the rest in a couple of weeks.

Here are some closeups....

I took the opportunity to use flowers on my boy layout, since they matched the photo perfectly.

I cut my title using a Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons cut file. I just love this saying. I stamped an Inkadinkado flower beneath.

Here I stamped a Family sentiment stamp by My Stamp Box.

I used the June sketch from Boy's Rule Scrapbook Kits

I was also inspired by the following challenges -
Scrap It Girl - Recipe Time - Use Brads, buttons & bling
Love To Scrap Challenge Blog #56 - Anything Goes with stamping
Silhouette Challenges - Anything Goes

Product List - Echo Park - Happy Go Lucky paper, stickers and bling; Recollections cardstock; AC cardstock; Little B corrugated tape and flowers, buttons, brads and bling from my stock. Tim Holtz Distress Inks.

SWEET - STUCK?! SKETCHES DT REVEAL

WOW....the middle of June has rolled around already! That means it is time for the June 15th Design Team Reveal at Stuck?! Sketches.

Here is my layout....

This photo was taken shortly after Miss Isabel came to live with us. She was such a little sweetie pie (she still is) and snuggles up with Gerry. The perfect "Sweet" photo of the two of them.

Here are some closeups....

I created the flowers by punching three different sizes of circles....roughing them up and bit, inking the edges and layering them up.

Here is Laura's wonderful sketch....I choose to just add one photo.

Be sure to stop by the Stuck?! Sketches Blog and check out the rest of the Design Teams creations and the link up your layout by June 29th for a chance at a fabulous prize from one of the sponsors.

I was also inspired by the Challenge at Use Your Stuff - Colour Me Happy - I am under the spell of my Grandson's favourite colour lately - Orange just makes me happy!!!

Product List - MME - Jubilee paper and die cuts, Bo Bunny doily, American Crafts-Amy Tangerine paper leaves and Thickers, twine and buttons from my stash.

SUPER STAR!

As promised here is layout #2 from Saturday's 3-Pitch game....

I snapped this photo during warm up.

And some closeups....

I did the same techniques on this layout as on the one I posted yesterday....as I will make a double out of the two layouts. This will look fabulous side by side in my album. I already have them on display in my kitchen on my layout boards.

Here is the cluster in the bottom left corner....for some reason on all the photos I took of the layout, this area is whited out.

I used the sketch from Boy's Rules Scrapbook Kits for inspiration.

I was also inspired by Southern Girls Challenges - Spots & Dots.

Awesome Dude!

Happy Monday everyone....I can say that as I have today off. Leaving shortly to go create some pottery goods with my Mom and Daughter for my Daughter's birthday.
We had a wonderful weekend with our Grandson's with a sleepover....I took some photos at their 3-Pitch game on Saturday. After taking them home yesterday, I had some creative time and created a layout of each of them from the ball game.

Here is one of the layouts....

Aiden hit his first double.....all the way out to the grass. How exciting...It just had to be scrapped!

Here are some closeups. I used some found items of different sizes, dipped them in craft paint and created the circles in the background. I also added some paint splatters.

I used a watercolour effect on the Heidi Swapp Tags - Star. I rubbed three colours of Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn & Salty Ocean) on a piece of waxed paper and a couple of sprintz of water and them dipped the watercolour tags in to absorb the colour. The colours were a little bright so I toned it down by dabbing Vintage photo all over the star. I layered a piece of coordinating paper behind so the word "AWESOME" showed up better.

Here is the sketch from Sketches In Thyme - Sketch 151 for inspiration.

I was also inspired by Heather's Challenge for SNS 3rd Birthday Bash to use product from 3 different companies .

Product list - Recollections cardstock, MME paper, die cuts and buttons and the items listed above.
