Carmen's - Project Life Style

Good evening everyone. I have a quick post to share tonight. A Project Life Style card that I created for my daughter's wedding album.

This is the name of the venue that my daughter was married at. Just a simple card for the date and name for the page. A tin pin from Cuts2Luv, Ki Memories Rub-ons, date stamp and washi from my stash complete the card

I was inspired by the sketch #98 at Sketches In Thyme Project Life Style.

I just love playing along with this challenge. I will share the rest of the page once I complete it.

The Shower

Good Morning Friends, I have another wedding related layout to share with you today.

This layout showcases the invitation that I created from a freebie online and the adorable cupcakes that a local bakery created for me. I took a photo idea from Pinterest and she created them perfectly. My daughter's friend created the diamond donuts which was the perfect addition to our deserts. I added one of the diamonds to the layout as well. I tucked it in on the right side behind the photo.

I was inspired by the sketch from Sketches In Thyme

Three Generations

Greetings, I was lucky to attend a crop on Saturday and I was very productive. I am back creating some wedding layouts. I would like to share one with you tonight.

I love this photo. I am so fortunate to have shared this special day not only with my daughter, but my Mom as well.
Here are some closeups....

I fussy cut some of the flowers to create a lovely cluster of stickers and enamel dots. The Love above my Mom is a rub-on.

I cut my title with a font and my Silhouette.

I added some rub-ons that add some lovely pink shading behind my photo and doilies.

Product List: Teresa Collins - Save the Date paper, stickers & enamel dots, Basic Grey & Fancy Pants Rub-ons.

I was inspired by the Blend - A - Sketch challenge from Scrap Our Stash. I really enjoyed this challenge.

I was also inspired by the challenge at Challenge Yourself. I used the middle row - Rub-ons, Photo with You and Border Punch.

OH CANADA - Lasting Memories Layout Challenges DT Reveal

Welcome back for another Lasting Memories Layout Challenges Design Team reveal. This is the last challenge for March under the theme of "Did you Know?" and today's challenge is March is Red Cross Month. Either do a layout that has Red & White colour scheme (can have the plus signs too that have been so popular lately) or if you ever did anything or received anything for the Red Cross you can tell us about that.

I of course being Canadian choose to use the Red & White theme....the colours of our flag. Here is my layout....

2017 was Canada's 150th birthday and the celebrations could be seen everywhere. At the Wayne Gretzky Centre the flags were displayed beautifully. I took pictures of the boys after swimming lessons in the Spring and Fall sessions.

Here are some closeups...

I stamped several of the stamps from the Scrapbook & Cards Today - Celebrate Canada stamp set. They worked just perfectly for this layout.

I also sprinkled a few punched out red maple leafs to the white background.

Product List: AC Cardstock, Creative Memories - Celebrate Canada designer paper pack and Bazill ribbon.

Be sure to stop by the Lasting Memories Blog to check out the rest of the teams creations. You have until the end of the month to play along.

Hello Sunshine

Good morning all! It is Thursday and the weekend is right around the corner.
I have another layout to share with you today.....

I based this layout on the die-cut Hello with the filmstrip. I received this at a recent crop as part of my loot. I think it is just perfect of my three photos of the boys at the Wye Marsh last summer.

Here are some closeups....

I kept my layout fairly simple. Products include Creative Memories Galavant paper, a couple of wood veneer pieces from my stash and Thickers - sunshine to complete my title. The twine and washi are also from my stash.

I was inspire by the challenge from Scrapping4Fun Challenges to create a masculine layout.

Guitar Man - Lasting Memories Layout Challenges

Happy Sunday morning friends, time for the latest Lasting Memories Layout Challenges Design Team Reveal. We are continuing with the theme of March National Month of - Did you Know?
Today's challenge is Music in Our Schools Month, so create a layout about Music, Kids and Music or school.

Here is my layout...

As soon as I saw this challenge, I knew what photo I wanted to use. This is my husband as a child with his quitar in front of the Christmas tree...how cute!

Here are some closeups...

The guitar from Jolee's By You is the perfect embellishment for this layout. I sprinkled rhinestone stars by Love Nicole with a couple of music notes that were left over from a previous layout.

I added a paper bag and kraft paper tag by The Paper Studio for journalling. A couple of star rub-on from Basic Grey matched perfectly.

The record background paper from an older DCWV -The Mod Retro Stack matched the theme
of my layout and the DCWV - Rockstar Stack.

Be sure to check out what the rest of the team created and then share with us what you came up with for this challenge. We would love for you to share with us and you have a chance at a fabulous prize.
