Adorable - Lasting Memories Layout Challenges DT Reveal

Happy Sunday everyone, time for the latest Lasting Memories Layout Challenges Design Team reveal. We are continuing with the Theme for June of Stash Busting and today's challenge is to use stencils and texture paste on your layout.

Here is my layout....

Isn't he just the cutest little man? The back catch mask is so big, but his smile still shines through!!!

I used Tim Holtz texture paste with a honeycomb stencil. I added a drop of royal blue acrylic paint to the texture paste and then to tone it down a bit, I added a drop of ivory to achieve just the right colour.

TODAY DOCUMENTED - Lasting Memories Layout Challenges DT Reveal

Happy Sunday morning friends, it is time for the newest challenge at Lasting Memories Layout Challenges. I am hosting the challenges for June and the theme is "Stash Busting" and today's challenge is to use paints or mists on your layout.

Here is my layout....

This photos was taken on Mother's Day. A special time with my Mom and sister.

Here are a couple of closeups....

I started by adding some Mister Huey's red and yellow mist to the background.

And then added paint splatters to finish it off.

GRANDPA'S GIRLS

Good Afternoon, I am trying out a new challenge today and wanted to share with you.

Here is my layout...

My sister recently shared this photo with me and I couldn't wait to scrap the memory. This photo would have been taken in September 1988 of my Dad, niece and daughter. Such a precious photo to cherish.

I was inspired by the National Scrapbooking day layout at Sketch N Scrap.

And now for the new challenge that I am trying over at Counterfeit Kit Challenge. I have been following this blog for months and wanted to play along. Here is the inspiration photo to create your kit from.

And here are the papers that I choose to create with.

The challenge that I am playing along with today is 2017 Trends and the trend that I am creating is Get Angular.

Fat Cat

Good Morning everyone, it is a rainy one here today, but I am on holidays so it doesn't really matter. Any day away from work is a good day!!!

I have a layout to share with you today...

This is our cat Gizmo, his favourite thing is to lay on the back of this couch. He can see out the window from here, but most of the time he just sleeps. He is a very big boy and he has actually dented the couch as this is his spot!!! You can see our other cat Isabel in the background. They are never too far apart from each other.

Lil' Gardener

Good Evening, I have a cute layout to share with you today. My grandson loves to garden with me.

This little guys loves everything about gardening, from planting to watching it grow, to the harvest. He makes scrapbooking so easy and such a joy!!!

Dentist Visit - Lasting Memories Layout Challenges DT Reveal

Good Morning everyone, we are right in the middle of the May 24 Long Weekend here in Canada. The weather has not been the greatest, but it is a long weekend, so enjoying it with family and friends is what is important.

Today is reveal time at Lasting Memories Layout Challenges. We are continuing with the theme of "Variety of Shapes" and today's challenge is Hexagons.

Here is my layout....

My "Daughter In Law" took these photos of the boys at one of their dentist visits. We must document everything, even the visit to the dentist!!!

This hexagon Silhouette cut file is the very first cut file that I tried when I received my Silhouette machine. It continues to be one of my favourites!!!

Here are some closeups....

I picked up these Jolee's embellishments on clearance a while back knowing that I had these photos to scrap. They are just perfect and I used every single one of them on this layout.

These cut files are a great background to a layout. Just add some pops of colour to fill in the hexagons.

LOVELY - Lasting Memories Layout Challenges DT Reveal

Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful Moms out there. I hope you have a chance to spend time with your families today in recognition of your Mom and the wonderful inspiration that she has had on your life.

Today I am going to share the latest Lasting Memories Layout Challenges Design Team reveal with you. We are continuing with the theme for May of "Variety of Shapes" and today's challenge is Triangles!

Here is my layout....

I took these photos of my daughter's wedding dress the day she picked it up from the Bridal Saloon after the final alterations had been completed. We moved the furniture out of the way so that I could take these photos. The lighting wasn't perfect, but I loved how they turned out up against the stain glass window.

Here are a couple of closeups...

I created a cluster with a rose cut file and added a few flowers to finish it off.

I layered up different sizes of triangles on my background and added a couple of triangle clips to the cluster.

Paint Night

Happy Monday everyone. It is a beautiful day! I have a layout to share with you today.

For a Girls Night out, we went to a Paint Night. It was a lot of fun.
