Fortissimo - ScrapMuch? Sketch-y Friday July 4th DT Reveal

Today I would like to share my layout for the ScrapMuch? Sketch-y Friday July 4th DT Reveal. Since it is the Friday following July 1st - Canada's birthday, I wanted to do another Canadian themed layout.

These pictures were taken a few years ago when we had the pleasure of seeing Fortissimo - The Band of the Ceremonial Guard on the grounds of the Parliment Building in Ottawa! It was a fabulous sight and pleasure to the ears!

Here are some closeups....

I wanted to keep my embellishing fairly simple to not take away from the photos.

Products used - Paper by MME & Fancy Pants. I cut my tag from Pebbles Inc Journal Card. The banner is Heidi Swapp and I colored it with Powder Puff Chalking Ink in Marashino Cherry. Embellishments - Canada Button by Dress It Up, Bakers Twine by WeR Memory Keepers, Maple Leaf  by Mistables by Mister Hueys and the brads are from my stash. Lettering by MME - Dear Santa and Authentique - Petite Type Square.

Here is Laura's fabulous two page sketch....

Be sure to link up your layouts before the end of July for a chance at a prize!

I also was inspired by Lasting Memories Layout Challenges - LM #196 - Bannerific to use a banner on my layout.

And.....Red Carpet Studio #73 to create a patriotic themed project.

Stay crafty!!!
