Today I would like to share a layout that I created with pictures of our Grandson on his very first Canada Day. Papa, Auntie Sara & I had the pleasure of taking him to the Port Dover Canada Day Parade when he was just 4 months old. He slept through all of the noisy floats and bands and celebrating crowds.
Here is my layout...
Isn't he just adorable in his little Canada Day shirt?
And some detail shots....
I stitched around all of my triangles with the sewing machine.
My product list includes papers by Crate Paper, October Afternoon, Basic Grey & vellum by DCWV, bingo chips by Crate Paper, Wed button by Studio Calico, Film Strip & Tiny Tackers by Tim Holtz, wood veneer arrow by Teresa Collins, Maple Leafs Mistables by Mister Huey's, Thickers, Alphabet Stickers by Recollection and the buttons are from my stash.
Here is the fabulous sketch that Laura created.
Be sure to play along this month for a chance at two fabulous prizes from our sponsors.
A $20 gift certificate from Creative Emellishments & a kit of the month from ScrapMuch?
We are also teaming up with Frosted Designs to use die cuts. I used a heart die to cut the heart from vellum, so be sure to link up your layout on their blog as well. You can find all the info here.
I was also inspired by the Challenge at Catherine & Cathy Create which is to show you National Pride!
And Red Carpet Studio #73 to create a patriotic themed project.
Remember to put on your Red & White and celebrate this wonderful country that we are so fortunate to live in. HAPPY CANADA DAY everyone!!!
