Burford Fall Fair

Today's post is a little off season, but a good way to cool things down.

Here is my layout....

This is a layout that I created for our local Burford Fall Fair. These photos are from the 2014 Agricultural Fair.

Here are some closeups...

I added some stamping and Tim Holtz texture paste (with a dab of acrylic forest green paint) to distress the MME Necessities Wood "Veneer" background paper.

Lots of texture and layers with a piece of burlap ribbon, tin pin and ticket from my stash.

I used two different fonts for my title. Alpha stickers and Thickers. Most of the paper that I used were bits and pieces of Simple Stories paper, chipboard and stickers and others papers from my stash.

I was inspired by the inspiration photo below from Archi-scraps and you needed to include wood and distressing.

I was also inspired by the ARTastic Challenge inspiration photo below to use a Country/Rural theme....doesn't get much more country/rural than the Burford Fall Fair!

Thanks for stopping by! Stay Crafty!!!

  1. So glad that you've joined us this month at Archiscraps! What a beautiful page. I'm afraid I've gotten out of the habit of multi-page layouts but this makes me nostalgic for a good photo-heavy spread. No sacrifice of texture & design with more limited real estate here - you've really done a bang up job with every detail. Thanks for sharing!
