Today I am sharing a wonderful SUMMER layout with you....
Last summer we went on a Family fun day excursion with my husband's work to a local water park. It wasn't the warmest day of the summer, but everyone enjoyed the water just the same. The Grandson's were a little hesitant to stand under the giant bucket with their Dad!!!
Here are some closeups....
I dug into my Jillibean Soup stash for this layout. As many of you must know, I don't too often use pink on my layouts as the boys are my main subject to scrap. But for this one I jumped in and matched the papers to the bright structure of the water feature.
Here I layered up lots of Jillibean die cuts and stickers with a MME brad and Darice twine.
For this cluster I added an American Crafts Flair badge.
I was a little stumped with the large space left on the banner at the bottom of my layout, so I put it aside for a couple of days and then I printed off my journaling and strip cut it to fill in the space. I think it worked out perfectly. It amazes me sometimes how you can think and think and think and not come up with a solution. Put aside for a few days and presto.....an idea comes immediately!!!
Here is Laura's wonderful sketch....
