Of course with it being February and Valentine's Week we are all thinking about hearts, love and chocolate! I made a few layouts using traditional Valentine's paper but I gave it a twist.
My first layout celebrates Canada Day....what better paper and colour scheme then red....
And some closeups.....
I chose a heart Silhouette file for the large background detail...
Some clocks, sequins and buttons for embellies. The clock below is a The Paper Studio Bubble-A-Bilities. I didn't like how the assorted papers were showing through so I punched a circle and covered it with heart washi tape.
Here is the sketch by the fabulous Laura Whitaker for Boys Rule Scrapbook Kits that I used for inspiration.
I was also inspired by the challenge at Scrap Our Stash Challenge and the challenge is to use items to spell the word W-A-S-H-I. The items I used were W-washi tape (2 kinds) and wood button and veneer, A-arrow, S-sequins, H-hearts & I- I inked the edges.

And ColorQ Challenge #279 and here is the mood board....
