Today I would like to share another layout I created for my Guest Designer position at The Memory Nest Make it Monday. For this sketch I choose a picture from a few years ago. It was Aiden's first visit with Santa after the Burford Santa Claus parade. He is so little....we forget how quickly they grow!
Here is my layout....
Isn't he adorable? Santa is too!
And some closeups.....
I am so thrilled to say that I recently took a beginner Silhouette course at a recent ScrapMuch? retreat and now I can actually successfully cut things! After the course, I came right out and cut this title and I was so very proud!!!!
I added some machine stitching, sequins and Fancy Pants embellies.
A few buttons from my stash to finish things off.
The papers I used are Fancy Pants - St Nick. I love the colouring of these papers.
And here is the wonderful sketch from The Memory Nest. I turned the sketch 90 degrees to better suit my photo.
Be sure to link up your projects to The Memory Nest for a chance at a fabulous prize or as I said last week....maybe you will be asked to be a Guest Designer!!!
Thanks again Leslie, I really enjoyed Guest Designing for The Memory Nest!
I was also inspired by the challenge at Red Carpet Studio #84 Elf.
And Paper Wings Productions Holiday Challenge...or Red & Green
Stay Crafty!!!
