I have a layout to share with you that I titled HAPPY! Seems appropriate for many reasons!
This picture makes me HAPPY every time that I look at it (actually it makes me giggle). I am the dozy looking one in the middle, with my sisters on either side. I don't know what the occasion is for this photo. I think it is taken at a Grandparent's house, but I am not sure of that either. I asked my Mom and she does not recall either....so....I am going to guess that I am about 3 years old and that makes my sisters 8 & 9. The occasion could be our curly hairdos???? Brenda looks especially proud! LOL!!!
Here are some closeup shots. Everything I used is Teresa Collins product (except the crochet cotton - which I purchased at a thrift store). This package of paper & die cuts was the loot from the ScrapMuch? Fall Retreat....isn't it amazing?
Here is the sketch that I used......
Stick It Down Tuesday Challenge is to pick a sketch from their archives and create a layout! Check it out there are lots of sketches to choose from....what a great idea for a challenge!
From my curly family to yours.....Have a safe and Happy New Year's Eve! Play safe!
Stay Crafty!!!
Hi Sandy. Your layout is great. I'm a huge fan of making layouts using old photos. Don't you find the nostalgic part fun? You layout really brings the sketch to life. Your papers are perfect. It's really nice that you played with us at Stick it Down. I wish you a Happy New Year, and, by the way, I think you're the cutest of the three. :)
