These adorable photos were taken last fall during a walk to Tiffany Falls.

THANKFUL

I have another Fall Themed layout to share with you today...

These photos were taken last year on Thanksgiving weekend when we did our pumpkin harvest. So much to be Thankful for!!!

I was inspired by the Pumpkin Spice challenge from The Paper Girls Challenge Blog.

Best Buddies

Today I am back to share a Halloween theme layout with you....

I took this photo last year at a local pumpkin patch. Our grandsons really don't like the various scarecrows that decorate the patch. They are reluctant to pose with the locals!!!

Here are some closeups...

I was inspire by Sketch 296 from Sketches In Thyme.

And the Pumpkin Spice challenge at The Paper Girls Challenge.

Beautiful Fall - Lasting Memories Layout Challenges DT Reveal

Good Morning, it is time for the latest Lasting Memories Layout Challenges Design Team reveal. We are continuing with the theme of "Around The House" for October. Today's challenge is to stamp with something other than a stamp.

I gathered some leaves from my yard for my layout....

I used a Hydrangea Leaf first adding Tim Holtz distress ink to the veins of the leaf.

It made a wonderful image on my background paper.

I added more ink with orange and yellow ink with Maple leaves. The maple leaves didn't have the detail that the Hydrangea leaf added, but I love the effect.

Here are a couple of closeups....

I used some bits and pieces to add layering behind my photo to bring out the colours in my photo.

Be sure to stop by the Lasting Memories Blog to check out what the rest of the team created. You have until October 28th to link up your designs.

Catching Up on December Daily

Well the weekend flew by as always and it is back to work this morning. I am just popping in quickly to share a December Daily page from 2016.

A project life type card to finish off a Christmas morning page.

I was inspired by the sketch from Sketches In Thyme Project Life Style sketch #87.

Here is my card with the rest of the page showing my husband with his favourtie gift!!! LOL!!!

I just love these little sketches...they get me moving in the right direction!!!

Final Fitting - Lasting Memories Layout Challenges DT Reveal

Happy Sunday morning everyone! Time for the latest Lasting Memories Layout Challenges Design Team Reveal. We are continuing with the theme of Around The House for October. Today's challenge is to use a Book Page or Sheet Music.

Here is my layout...

Well the title says it all...this was the Final Fitting day. And everything was perfect for my Girlie. It was such a pleasure to share these moments with her. XO

Here is each side of my layout...

And some closeups...

I used dictionary pages for my part of the challenge. I was picky on which pages I used. On the right side the frame is around the word dress and on the left side the word bride is highlighted.

Be sure to stop by the Lasting Memories Blog to check out the rest of the team's creations. We would love to see how you interpret this challenge.

Memories - Guest Designing with Scrapping4Fun Challenges

I am happy to share with you today that I have been asked to Guest Design with Scrapping4Fun Challenges. Challenge 101 is Autumn Colours.

Here is my layout....

Last fall we went on an adventure to Tiffany Falls and to get pictures taken for our anniversary. Our Grandson didn't understand why he couldn't be in the photos, so he managed to sneak into a couple. Isn't he adorable?

Here are some closeups...

I painted a couple of colours on the chipboard title to match my layout. Popping up the heart adds dimension.

I added a cluster of flowers and leaves.

Here is the inspiration photo from Scrapping4Fun Challenge 101. Be sure to play along and check out the design teams creations.

Thank you Scrapping4Fun for inviting me to Guest Design.

I was also inspired by the following challenges:
Challenge Yourself - Challenge #46 - Fall Mood Board

AWESOME -Lasting Memories Layout Challenges DT Reveal

Good Morning everyone and Happy Thanksgiving to everyone in Canada.

It is time for the latest Lasting Memories Layout Challenges Design Team Reveal. For the month of October our theme is "Around The House" and today's challenge is - Use Children's Artwork or Journaling (or be inspired by a child's reading book).

I was very excited when I saw this challenge as I knew exactly what I was going to use for my layout.

A few years ago my Grandson drew this map of the Burford Fair when we had returned from the fair. It is a masterpiece as he drew it out perfectly. I have been saving it for years, for just the right project.

Here are some closeups....

I layered up under the photo with primary colour cardstock to match his artwork.

I created a little flap to hold a journal tag and to also maintain the integrity of his artwork.
I mounted the layout on a piece of blue cardstock.

Be sure to stop by the Lasting Memories Blog to check out the rest of the team's creations. We would love to see how this challenge inspires you.
