The fourth colour this month was to be the creator's choice....and I choose green. You can find the colour challenge info here.

Pump "Kin"
Well the sun is finally shining again! Wow we have had a lot of rain lately!
For today's post, I have created a layout using my October Kit Club and the Monthly Sketch for Scrap Much? You can find all the info here.
Here is the sketch......
And here is my layout using the wonderful Echo Park, Reflections Fall papers and embellishments. I cut the leaves with a Spellbinders die.
I changed the sketch up a bit so that I could also submit this to Boys Rule Scrapbook Kits. Their challenge for October is to create a layout mirroring half of your page....what you create on the left side mirror it on the right side...or you can do top and bottom....a balancing act in a way :) You can find the info here.
I took these photos of my Grandsons at the Burford Fair, posing on a 495 pound pumpkin. I actually printed the photo on the left by reversing it, so it was mirrored with the photo on the right.
We are off to pick pumpkins with the boys....have a wonderful sunny day!

Bell Homestead
For this post, I am going to share a layout that I created to enter in the Burford Fall Fair this past weekend. The Hobbies & Craft Division had a new section this year for Scrapbooking.
I used the My Scraps & More sketch # 49 for my inspiration for my layout. You can find the information for this sketch here.
Here is the sketch.....
And here is my layout. The layout was for the following category at the Burford Fair:
A page depicting a Canadiana Cultural event or Historical Location.
I choose to do my page of the Bell Homestead National Historical Site. The Bell Homestead is near and dear to my heart. I have volunteered at the site for the last 10 years.
I placed First in this category! Here is my layout on display at the Burford Fall Fair!
Thanks for stopping by!

Amazing
I have another post for you today, this time for a ScrapMuch? Sketch-y Friday sketch. This is for the Week 1 Sketch for October 4, and you can find all the information here.
Here is Laura's sketch.....
Here is my layout I created. These photos were taken on Canada Day at the Twin Valley Petting Zoo. Mason was truly Amazed by the Cockatoo!
I placed my journaling card inside of a paper bag. You can just pull on the little pointed hand to pull it out! Fun Eh?

With Halloween right around the corner I was happy to participate in Catherine & Cathy Create Monthly challenge CCC #010 for October to use Black and Orange in a project. You can find the info here.
And here is my layout that I create using a photo of my children from about 1992. Justin as Steve Urkele, Sara as a Kitty and Brodie as a Hippy! This photo always brings a big smile to my face! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
