BIG BOYS - LITTLE BIKES - Lasting Memories Layout Challenges DT Reveal

Welcome back for another Lasting Memories Layout Challenges Design Team Reveal. Today is the last reveal for the month of August. We are still in the theme of Transportation and today's challenge is - I want to ride my bicycle, I want to ride my bike! Now we want to see bikes on  your layouts.

Here is my layout...

These photos are from a few years ago. The boys love to ride bikes and it doesn't matter that when they come to Nana & Papa's house the bikes are old ones that they have outgrown. They still have lots of fun!!!

Here are a couple of closeups...

Be sure to stop by the Lasting Memories Blog to check out the rest of the teams creations. You only have a couple of days left to share your Transportation layouts with us.

Port Dover Pier - Lasting Memories Layout Challenges DT Reveal

Good Morning friends, it is time for the latest Lasting Memories Layout Challenges Design Team reveal.  We are continuing with the theme of Transportation for the month of August and today's challenge is Boats.

Here is my layout...

I created a double layout of photos from earlier this summer when my husband and I visited Port Dover. It was a beautiful day to visit the water! (update - yes I spelled Pier wrong and I have since corrected it...lol)

Here is each side closer up...

I was inspired by the sketch from Stick It Down.

ANTICIPATION - Lasting Memories Layout Challenges DT Reveal

Good Morning Friends, time for the latest Design Team Reveal at Lasting Memories Layout Challenges. We are continuing with the August theme of Transportation and today's challenge is Hot Air Balloons.

Here is my layout...

This photo is of my Mom waiting for the crew to stand the basket up for our Hot Air Balloon ride. Because of my Mom's age, they had her climb into the basket before the balloon was fully inflated so that she wouldn't have to climb into the basket. Her face is just full of anticipation.

Here are a couple of closeups...

I added some Hot Air Balloon stamps to the background paper.

All of the papers are from a My Mind's Eye paper pad called "The Best of...", I added a library type journalling pocket and card to record my story.

I used sketch #335 from Sketches In Thyme as my starting point.

Be sure to stop by the Lasting Memories Blog to check out what the rest of the team created. We would love to see what you create with this challenge.
