Just Married - Lasting Memories Layout Challenges DT Reveal

Happy Sunday morning everyone. I hope you are all enjoying your weekend.
It is time for another installment of the "All In The Name Of Love" challenge over at Lasting Memories Layout Challenges. Today's challenge is Celebration of Love - create a layout showing a moment, celebration, favourtie hobby, family, anything you love. That was an easy one for me.

Here is my layout....

What better "Celebration of Love" than a wedding!!!

I just love this photo....I had journaling all printed out on strips to add to the layout, but I thought it took away from it, so I added it to the back of the layout....it reads: So much captured in this candid photo.....You are both looking in the directions of your families just before the minister announces you as Mr. & Mrs.
Aiden is in the background admiring the ring bearer cushion.

Here are some closeups....

I added lace to the top of my layout and an antique piece of lace from my Great Aunt Ada. I wouldn't want to guess how old that piece of lace is.

I used my Silhouette to cut the heart, title and flower cluster.

The background paper is a lovely soft pink flocked print....fabulous texture.

A piece of organza ribbon for a feminine touch to the tag. I stapled a tiny heart with my Tim Holtz tiny attacher.

Product List: Anna Griffin papers, ribbon, lace & metal leaf from my stash.

Be sure to stop by the Lasting Memories Blog and check out the rest of the Design Team's creations. Then link your Celebration of Love layout up before the end of the month.

I started my layout with some inspiration from a Citrus Twist Kits sketch....

I was also inspired by the challenge # 121 at The Paper Girl's Challenge to use Hearts
and
Use Your Stuff Challenge #250 - Love is in the Air - Use Hearts
and

You & Me Forever Together - Lasting Memories Layout Challenges DT Reveal

Good Morning everyone...time for the latest Lasting Memories Layout Challenges Design Team Reveal. We are continuing with our theme of "All In The Name Of Love" for February. This week's challenge is HEARTS or ARROWS - Use one or both of these shapes on your layouts.

Here is my layout....

I used both Hearts and arrows on my layout. This photo was taken at our daughter's wedding last June, but I thought it was perfect for a Valentine's layout with the photo printed in black & white.

Here are some closeups...

I punched a heart out of vellum and layered it over an arrow sticker for the cluster at the bottom and part of my title.

I anchored my photo on a large ampersand.

A punched ampersand grouped with alpha stickers for the rest of the title.

Product List: Anna Griffin papers, Teresa Collins vellum, Heidi Swapp title stickers, Jillibean Soup Grey Smile Wise Words, Fancy Pants alpha, MME stickers and enamel dots, Tim Holtz tiny attachers and washi from my stash. Photo - Luxarte Studios

Be sure to stop by the Lasting Memories Blog and check out the rest of the design team's creations. Then get busy and link up yours before the end of the month.

I started with the February 1st Stuck?! Sketches sketch.

I was inspired by the challenge at More Than Words - to use the Word Together and an Ampersand.
and by the Scrap Our Stash Tic Tac Toe Stash Challenge. I used the colour Red, Hearts & Mixed Alpha tile.

and Colorful Creations use the colors Black & White + One - I used Red
