Keep Your Eye on the Ball

Check out the Colour Challenge every month at Scrapmuch?
Here are the colours for November.

I used Simple Stories - Say Cheese line for my layout.

Well that is everything that I created at the retreat. Stay warm!

Monkeying Around

I created a double layout at the Fall Retreat I attended last weekend. The sketch I used is another beautiful one from Scrapmuch? Sketch-y Friday November Week 1.

Here is Laura's lovely two page sketch.....

And here is my layout using We R Memory Keepers paper; Thickers; and push pins from Little Yellow Bicycle.

And some detail shots.

When I went to do my title, I didn't have any O's left, so I used a one inch circle punch and made my own out of another photo!!!! I think it adds to the theme of the layout!

This layout speaks for itself! And the boys in our family! You certainly can tell they are related, after all.....It's A Family Affair! LOL!!!

2nd 3rd Place

Today I am sharing a layout with a sweet picture of my Grandsons at the Burford Fair. In the background you can see their 2nd and 3rd place entries. The category they entered was "Recycling - something useful made from something useless". Aiden made a belt from pop can lids and he placed 2nd. Mason made a binder cover out of old jeans and he placed 3rd.

The sketch that I used is from Creative Scrappers and it is Sketch #256. Here is the sketch....

This sketch is perfect for a fair entry layout. It reminds me of all the quilts on display at the fair.

Here is my layout using October Afternoon paper for the background. The triangles are Simple Stories; Tag - Jillibean Soup; Mini Paper Bag - Canvas Home Basics; Floss - Sullivans; Arrows - BoBunny; Ribbon - unknown.
The little "Harvest Time" tag pulls out to reveal my journaling.

I am also entering this at Inkido for their November Challenge which was to use thread, string or yarn. I used embroidery thread for my hand stitching.

Fall Fun

Here is another layout that I created for a Let's Get Sketchy Challenge, this one is for November Week 1.

Here is the sketch......

Here is my layout with photos from our search of the perfect pumpkin!

Paper & Embellies Echo Park - Reflections Fall; Thickers; Rhinestones-Recollections

I am also submitting this for Boy Meets Girl Challenges. The challenge is AAB Fall into Fall - create a Fall layout using male photos only.

Champ

Today I would like to share with you a layout that I created for Let's Get Sketchy Week 3.

Here is the sketch....

And for my layout I used Websters Pages paper for the background and the rest of the papers were left over scraps from previous projects & Thickers. The circles reminded me of all the balls flying around during T-Ball.

Tubbie Time

And for my last post for today, I am sharing a sketch from November 2013 Sketchy Challenge for Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine. I just loved the sketch!

I loved all the circles! For my layout, I choose to use photos of my daughter and grandsons in the Hot Tub. The circles reminded me of all the dancing bubbles.

Products - Fancy Pants - The Good Life
Buttons - Dollar Store
Metal Key by Moments
Thickers

Everyone loves the tubby!

35

Another post today for Scrapmuch? Sketch-y Friday, this time for Week 3.

For this sketch, I choose to use my November Kit Club papers from Scrapmuch? and you can find all the info here.

For my layout, I choose to celebrate the 35 wonderful years that I have been married to my husband. This photo was taken in July.

The papers and embellishments are BoBunny. I loved the background paper that says.....All you need is LOVE!!!! It sure helps!

Totally Cute

It is hard to believe that it is the middle of November already! The month is flying by....hubby & I had a weeks vacation at the beginning of the month to celebrate our 35th Wedding Anniversary....my how time flies when your having fun!

Another great thing about the 15th of every month is a new sketch from Stuck?! Laura has come up with another fabulous sketch!

This month at Stuck?! we are partnering with Scrap our Stash, who are challenging us to use something wood (ie. wood veneer, wood embossing, wood patterned paper) on our layouts. Participants can use both the sketch and the challenge and link up with both sites for a chance at both prizes.

As a DT of Sketch?! for my layout I used wood veneer lettering, bracket, arrow and key. I also used a wood patterned paper as my background. Here is my layout......

Here is a close up of the wood lettering, bracket and key......

Products used -Background Paper - Simple Stories; other papers - Bo Bunny; Wood Die Cuts - Basic Grey; number stickers - Making Memories; Thickers.

Be sure to link up your layout at Stuck?! before November 29th for a chance at a $15 Gift Certificate from Whimsical Twist to their site.

First DT Layout for Stuck?! Sketches

Today I would like to share my first layout created as a Design Team member of Stuck?! Sketches. Laura provided the team with a fabulous sketch! You can find the sketch and the rest of the teams inspiration here.

I changed things up a bit with my layout. Rather than using the circle, I choose to use a heart. It suited the Paper & Embellies that I used from Fancy Pants - What a Wonderful Day line.

A heart was a natural choice as I just love the two little stinkers in the photos!
I hope I have provided some inspiration with my first layout as a Design Team Member!

There are wonderful prizes up for grabs, so be sure to link up your layout to the site by November 30.

Have a wonderful November Day!
