Angus - Week 1 to Week 3

Good evening everyone, I am presently at a weekend retreat and wanted to share a couple of Project Life style cards that I created. We recently adopted a new puppy and I have taken a lot of photos, so I thought I would do a few project life style pages rather than a million layouts.

I was inspired by the Sketches In Thyme Project Life Style sketch #109.

And here is the entire page.

And another card....

Inspired by Sketch #110 from Sketches In Thyme Project Life Style.

And the full 4x6 card...

And the full page.

How Do You Pick Just One? - Lasting Memories Layout Challenges DT Reveal

Happy Sunday everyone, it is time for the lastest Lasting Memories Layout Challenges Design Team Reveal. We are continuing with the theme of "Mixed Bag" for September and today's challenge is: Good things come in threes - use 3 patterned papers, 3 embellishments - can be all the same or all different and 3 photos.

Here is my layout....

On September 1st we went to choose a new puppy. It had been 2 years since we lost our last Dalmatian and my husband really, really wanted another. So he got to choose which one and name it.
He chose the one in the photo that the little arrows are pointing to...or should I say puppy picked him!!!

My 3 embellishments are wood veneer, buttons and puffy stickers.

I was also inspired by the challenge at ARTastic to be inspired by the following photo and the criteria was to celebrate the males in our lives. I found it very fitting that the dog in the photo is a Dalmatian.

Summer Fun This Way - Lasting Memories Layout Challenges DT Reveal

Happy Sunday morning everyone. Is everyone enjoying their Labour Day long weekend...I know I am. It is time for the latest Lasting Memories Layout Challenges Design Team Reveal. Since we have turned the calendar to a new month, it is time for a new theme. Our theme for September is Mixed Bag, the challenges are going to be a little bit of everything. Today's challenge is since Labour Day is tomorrow and it is the "unofficial" end to summer, create a summer themed layout and include the word "fun" on your layout - this can be in the title, in your journaling, or on your embellishments.

Here is my layout....

A couple of years ago, I gave this floatie to my husband for Father's Day. The grandson's just loved it that a pool floatie was shaped like bacon. They played and played on it and had so much "fun''. I don't think the younger one actually ever got on it and by the end of the day, the floatie floated no longer. Good thing I took pictures!!!

Here is each side close up...
