December Daily Day 8

Good evening everyone, the new year is almost upon us. I don't know where the time has gone, just seems like it was September and back to school. Today I would like to share Day 8 with you from my December Daily Album. I am a little behind as with renovating, a couple of medical procedures and Christmas prep, my hands have been full.

Here we go....

My girlfriend and I purchased a December Daily kit from a local scrapbooking store, as we weren't very happy with the kit, we made them our own. I created a little pocket to hold my photos and added a journal card to the main page of the flip book.

Here is a closeup of the journal card.

I was inspired by the sketch #91 from Sketched In Thyme Project Life Style.

And now for the funny faces after tasting the Sodastream....I didn't get the full expression, but this photo still makes me giggle!!!

As the 8th of December was a busy day for us, I have a second page to share.

The boys came for a sleepover....just in time to help Nana & Papa decorate the tree. I added a pre-made Teresa Collins fan fold for this page as I had lots of photos to capture.

Here it is folded out. Room for eight photos in total and a spot to record what the boys wanted for Christmas.

Here is a little project life card that I created for one of the slots. I was inspired by the sketch #92 from Sketches In Thyme Project Life Style.

Special Delivery - Lasting Memories Layout Challenges DT Reveal

Good Morning everyone....just one more week until Christmas. Wow...time is flying by! We had better share the latest Lasting Memories Layout Challenges Design Team reveal. We are continuing with the December/Holiday Traditions theme. Today's challenge is to create a layout with more than two photos to use up that stash of photos. This challenge will run for two weeks to give the design team time to enjoy the holidays with Family and friends.

Here is my layout....

Last year the boys received their gifts from my oldest son through the mail as he lives far away and wasn't able to come home for Christmas. The gifts arrived just in time for Christmas and their parents saved them for Boxing Day so we could watch them open the gifts.

Here is each side....

And some closeups....

I was able to use 4 photos on my layout. Be sure to check out the Lasting Memories Blog to see the rest of the teams layouts, then be sure to link up yours!
