You Make My Heart Smile

I am back again with another one of my layouts that I created using traditional Valentine's paper for not a Valentine's layout.

Here is a picture from Christmas Day with my Mom and Grandson.

And some closeups....

I applied some stitching and a fabulous Mason jar clip....perfect for a family photo!

I added an Epiphany heart to the Silhouette title rather than a layered piece of cardstock.

I followed the sketch from The Memory Nest - Make it Monday No 33 for inspiration. I stayed pretty close to the sketch other than turning my photo and kept it simple with embellishing. The flocked Anna Griffin paper and the title say it all for me.

I was also inspired by the challenge at Paper Issues - Perfect Pairing....I used and Ephiphany Heart.

Thanks for stopping by! Stay Crafty!!!

  2. Great to see a photo of two different generations. I like your thinking to let the papers do the talking and embellishments to a minimum - that mason jar clip is just awesome. Thanks for playing at The Memory Nest.
