 Good morning friends, it’s time for the latest Lasting Memories Layout Challenges DT Reveal. It’s a new month and let’s have fun with papers this month! Incorporate one of each size paper onto your layout. 

Here are some general guidelines:
• Rectangular strips can be border punched, turned into banners or tags.
• Larger rectangles, circles or squares should be left whole.
• If you'd like to do a double page, use all of the required pieces on one page and then duplicate only those you want on the 2nd page.
• Photos may be matted with additional paper.
• Add your choice of embellishments, titles, journaling, etc.
• You can use scraps or cut pieces out of whole sheets of paper.

Use the following sizes of papers on your layout.

3 - 5" squares

3 - 1.5 x 5 strips

3 - 2" circles

Circular boarder to me meant to create a wreath….which meant Christmas, so I created this Christmas morning layout of my grandchildren. I punched lots of circles with different size circle punches and layered them around my photos! I really like how it turned out!

Cherish - Lasting Memories Layout Challenges DT Reveal

 Happy Sunday friends,  I am hosting the challenges this month at Lasting Memories Layout Challenges and I chose the theme of Let’s Get Back To Basics - it’s all about the base of our layouts. Today’s challenge is to create a  layout using a band design. Band design is a clean vertical band foundation, a wide and centred band foundation, a curving band foundation or a band along the page edge.

I took the sample base that I had created and I turned it so the band runs vertical rather than horizontal for this fun layout of my favourite youngest son and I! I just added a few layers and embellishments and voila….complete!!!

We are continuing with the theme of Deliberate Designs hosted by Cheryl for the month of January. Sometimes we start a layout without thinking through our process, but often it helps to have some direction first. This month, we will deliberately focus on different aspects of our design in order to give some pizzazz to the finished product. Today’s challenge is - create visual triangles by adding three groups of embellishments.

I created this sweet layout of our granddaughter doing a fashion show of the Christmas dresses her Mom purchased at a second hand store. All three dresses for $6, what an amazing deal! Start the car!

We are continuing with the theme of Deliberate Designs hosted by Cheryl for the month of January. Sometimes we start a layout without thinking through our process, but often it helps to have some direction first. This month, we will deliberately focus on different aspects of our design in order to give some pizzazz to the finished product. Today’s challenge is- Focus on Your Photos - use multiple photos (at least two) but be sure to give your focus photo the star treatment.

 Happy New Year everyone! I hope everyone had a great time ringing in the New Year! It’s time for the latest Lasting Memories Layout Challenges DT Reveal  We are continuing with the theme of Deliberate Designs hosted by Cheryl for the month of January. Sometimes we start a layout without thinking through our process, but often it helps to have some direction first. This month, we will deliberately focus on different aspects of our design in order to give some pizzazz to the finished product. Today’s challenge is- Focus on Your Title - use an extra large or long title, get creative with multiple fonts, replace a couple of letters in your title with pictures, etc.

 Hello Friends, Happy Sunday and I hope everyone is enjoying time with family and friends!Welcome to a new year of challenges for Lasting Memories Layout Challenges. We are starting the 2025 challenges a couple of days early! Cheryl is hosting the challenges for January with the theme of Deliberate Designs. Sometimes I start a layout without thinking through my process, but often it helps to have some direction first. This month, we will deliberately focus on different aspects of our design in order to give some pizzazz to the finished product. Today’s challenge is - Focus on Your Arrangement - use a sketch as your starting point (be sure to share your sketch when you post your layout).

I followed the sketch fairly closely, but adapted it with the use of the beautiful background paper from Memory-Place Fall Is In The Air. This is such a different fall collection from what I am used to but it worked beautifully!
